JapanFest 2025 Kicks Off in September

It’s almost time for another year of JapanFest! It’s Atlanta annual festival celebrating everything related to Japanese culture, as well as the alliance between Japan-America Society of Georgia, the Japanese Chamber of Commerce of Georgia, and the Consulate-General of Japan in Atlanta.

Held every September, JapanFest is a two-day event celebrating all aspects Japanese culture including cosplay, performances, and various vendors offering anime, collectables, and food. In addition to the above general events, this year’s event also celebrates the 20th anniversary of Fukuoka being designated as a sister city of Atlanta. For 2025, JapanFest is returning to the Gas South Convention Center in Duluth, GA on Saturday, September 20 and Sunday, September 21.

  • Family & Friends Packs: 4 for $70 / 5 for $90 (at the door only)

Special highlights for JapanFest 2025 include Hakata Koma (spinning-top performance), Matsuriza Taiko (Japanese Taiko drums), and a performance Canadian-born, New York and Tokyo-based rakugo comic storyteller Katsura Sunshine.
